Question about Canon PIXMA iP4000 InkJet Photo Printer
The printer was operating perfectly when suddenly the problem happened.
When the IP4000 printer is ordered to print, the printer stalls and does not initiate printing. An error message appears: Paper jammed in the output.
BUT THERE IS NOTHING IN THE OUTPUT. I checked thouroughly.
Also, when You open the front plate the printing plate tries to move to the middle but returns to the right side.
I reinstalled the original driver, reinitiated the PC and cleaned the printing area without any results.
I suggest you get a sheet of Card Stock (Heavy
paper) and place it in the feed way. Then press the print
button applying a slight amount of pressure on the Card Stock so it
will feed through the printer. The reason for this, is in some cases I
have been able to clear the paper track of debris that was deposited there
Worth a try, as I have fixed a number of printers this way, saving costly repairs.
Hope this helps. Bud
