I have a Hampton Bay celing fan Model Number: UC7078T. All of a sudden the remote control does not turn the light nor the celing fan on at all. However, the red light on the remote control stays on all of the times as long as the battery is connected to the remote. I have tried turning the light and fan on by the switch on the wall and pulling the chains on the celing fan, but nothing happens. The remote does not work at all except for the red light on the top of the remote stays on permanently as long as the battery is connected to the remote. Where can I buy a new Celing Fan Remote Control Model Number: UC7078T? Thank you very much I certainly appreciate it very much. Does Home Depot sell these Remote Controls since this is where I bought the Celing Fan originally? Thanks, Rand Z.
-   Our Hampton Bay ceiling fan worked for about 9 years, and then, nothing. The red light on the remote only comes on for the FAL OFF anf REVERSE buttons, but it won't turn on the light/dimmer or the fan. The fan is about 20 feet up in the air, so there's no other way to turn it on. I'm still looking for a replacement remote. Any suggestions? I'd appreciate any help I can get! THANKS!-   yerfriends

-   I have the Hampton Bay model uc7078T fan...remote control only...in my daughters room which has very high ceilings. This winter, the fan and light both were coming on and I couldn't get the fan to turn off. I replaced the remote batteries, but that wasn't the problem. I could change the direction of the fan spinning and could turn the light on and off, just not the fan- and it was stuck on high. We had to disconnect the fan function on the fan itself, but now that summer is coming, we need her to have a fan in her room that works. Any ideas on how to fix this? -   adrienne77

-   I also have the ceiling fan with the same number as rzb1322 (uo7078t). However, my fan is wood tone. The difference is mine is a remote controlled only ceiling fan. My remote does not function at all. It is a beautiful fan and I can't afford to purchase a new one. I would sincerely appreciate if I can be directed to where I can purchase a new remote. Home Depot has not been able to provide me with any answers at all. Thank You, Linda

I'm pretty sure that home depot does sell remotes for that brand, although you may have to buy a new receiver to go with it. Otherwise try a lighting store near where you live. They seem to be able to order things like that.
I contacted the help number that came with the replacement remote I bought at Home Depot (which I had to return b/c not compatible with this model). They sent me a new receiver and I just had our handyman install it. Works like new now. Parts were only about $40 shipped.
