Gas gauge quit working, now the car won't start - just had fuel pump changed out about 1 6 months ago.
Check fuel pump relay or fuse.
Sounds like you dont have any power going to your fuel pump. You will have to drop your tank and with a light tester check the red wire for power. If you cant tell with one is the red wire it will be the secound wire going into the plug. If you dont have any power there then make sure your fuses are good. You will need help with this because it is very had to reach the key switch and check the wire the same time. It is on a relay switch and only stays on for 5 secounds. Good luck.
A quick check is to turn the key to the on posistion and listen for the fuel pump, you should hear it buzz for a few seconds then stop.

fuel tank does not have a separate fuse- more than likely you have a broken wire at the tank connector or a bad ground at the tank

When u turn the ignition on the fuel pump should make a hum sound until the fuel system is primed then it will stop until the engine is turning over to run.If u ran it out of gas the pump mybe burn't up The liquid (gas) in the tank keeps the pump cool.
