Sansa c150 mtp player

I have had this since Christmas, just generally used the radio, would like to download some music, don't have a lot of tech knowledge, in other words I am not a teenager, any help you can give me would be appreciated. I did do what they said to do, all I can figure is I didn't do something right. Thank you

Re: Sansa c150 mtp player

Ok. You have just to start your Windows Media Player. and Select the files you want to download to your Sansa MP3 Player then you'll see a button called "Sync" Click on it and start Synchronizing. It's really easy.

I lost my cd and need to reinstall the driver and software

Sorry but there are no specific drivers on the CD for this player. I've had this player since '05 and was trying to get it installed under Windows Vista with only limited success. This player seems to work best with Win XP.

The c150 has two modes of operation MSC and MTP. In MSC mode Windows recognizes the player as a flash drive. You create folders using Windows Explorer just like you do on any hard drive and then copy your music files into the folders. The second mode (MTP) works with a music player such as Rhapsody or Windows Media Player (ver. 10 or higher). SanDisk bundled Rhapsody on their CD and I just installed it (today) on my Vista PC and it seems to work OK. Any files dropped on the player in MTP mode are invisible to the music player running in MSC mode. However, all files added to the player, regardless of the mode used, are visible as one big happy list when you use the player.

You set the mode you want to use before plugging the player into a USB port by going to "menu/settings/USB" on the player then choose either MSC or Auto Detect (defaults to MTP).

SanDisk has very little tech support info about this player on it's web site. I hope this is helpful.

San Disk Sansa c150 Trying to erase all songs

To delete songs from your device follow the steps below
You have to make sure that the device is on MSC mode...then make sure your device is plug in to the computer..Then go to programs - accesories - windows explorer, find the SanDisk in my computer, go to media, music and delete them from there.
Either under sync panel in your windows media player it will show your music when it's connected. just click the plus signs for what song you need to get rid of, right click and click delete.
To format it..on your device..go, setting and there should be a format option option there..let me know if that doenst work for you...
Hope this helps

If you've already cleared all the songs, might as well update the firmware (that solves most issues).
