Question about Maytag Neptune MDE5500AY Electric Dryer

My maytag (#LDE9304ACE) sounds like a popcorn machine

Turns on with a loud clunking, like something that spins is stripped.  Then it sounds like a popcorn machine and is really loud.  I noticed when I changed the belt that the big wheel in the front left (I think this is the drum?) is slightly wobbly.  Does this need to be replaced?

Why does my washer making a VERY loud noise while spinning. So loud you could hardly stay in same room. Ususally its pretty quiet. Then I heard something that sounded like a gear (?) being stripped or

2 possible things. the spinner drum bearings are giving up. This can show as a rusty water dribble under the machine.
The motor bearings are giving up.
Both of which require a good DIYer or an appliance engineer.

Whirlpool wtw5100sq0 clunks when put on spin cycle

Does the washer currently work fine aside from the loud clunking noise? Does the clunking noise continue or is it just one loud clunk when it starts to spin? If its just one loud clunk then that is not a problem just ignore it as that is the clutch spring releasing, it probably starting making noise from the grease getting washed off when the washer over filled.
However how did the washer overfill? That issue should be addressed too. Sometimes though, if the tub is not centered from a heavy load the water will spill over the back but its not really an overfill.

My Maytag MAH-24 Washer suddenly started making a clunking grinding sound in the middle of the spin cycle.

The rear tub bearing is going out, and the cost starts normally about the 450 and up range,

I got the same problem,so I disassembled the transmission box and noticed that the smallest cogwheel got stripped, but no one has given me a solution for that, they are machines made in china and neither nostalgia electrics nor any other company in the US sells replacement products.

My Maytag dryer MDE9606AZW has started to squeak, sounds like a fast spinning squeak, sometimes loud and sometimes quieter. What might be causing this and how do I fix it?

It's likely your drum ring bearing has worn out. It's a strip of plastic that keeps the metal parts from rubbing has the barrel turns.

Machine made loud 'clunking sound' and stopped. Notice appeared to switch off and try again. Notice then said cannot cut paper.

Check that your cutting module has not fallen out of it's holder. I had this issue the other day and the cutting module had just fallen off the printhead.

Clunking/thumping with spin cycle, reduces as spin speed increase

It's hard to tell without looking at the washer. But my first response would be that the transmission is wearing out. Inside the plastic cover for the adgitator is a metal drive stem. This assembly has a pulley on the bottom where your motor attaches to; inside the bottom of your washer. It is quite common after many years that these go bad. Have you ever noticed unexplained grease or other stains on your clothes after they came out of the wash?
