I,ve switched the bios over to pci express both the motherboard isnt reconizing the pci graffix card

  • Anonymous Jan 10, 2009

I went into bios settings and set the memory latency settings to aggressive. Upon rebooting, the system woul'd not start. I reset the bios by removing the battery and no go. Then I reset the cmos. All is working now except the m/b sensors are not registering and as a result the fans run full blast all the time. Under the hardware monitoring in the bios there is no input info. This is my cousin's comp and I really need to get this fixed. Please help!

Can you be more specific...what is it not sensing, power, or devices. If its working I'd suggest doing a bios refresh...

Try a couple different programs to test it. Try speedfan and check your bios.

My emachinecomputer died model et1161

Emachines are prone to take the motherboard with the power pack when they go bad.
The are blogs on the wb for Emachines and every body states the same thing.. DON"T FIX IT REPLACE IT WITH A BETTER BRAND COMPUTER
I had one and did replace it. Emachines have no inline fuses to save the mother board as others do. That is one reason why they are so cheap to buy. Too many shortcuts in this brand of computer you see

Emachine motherboard no model number

Check out this site provided for a program called SIW. Download the free english version and install. It will tell you everything about your computer that you ever needed to know. Check the motherboard section for your specifics, and try the sound card section to see teh specifics on your card. This will help you in your search for the correct drivers.

Emachines t6522

Hi birm,
I can tell you that most likely the white wire is the ground wire. The others are positive. The two manual found on eMachine's site does not provide enough of detail.
In this manual see;
Replacing the front I/O Panel (Pages 168, 170 see number 5).
http://downloads.emachines.com/userguides/8511279_eM_NG3_chassis_HW_ref_en.pdf

The information is not specific enough, my guess is the front panel connections is the cable to the far right. (Looking at the picture).
You can try by looking at the picture & hooking the cable as shown.
The white colored wire seems to face to the right. Than try the power on button. If system does not come on, turn the connector 180 & reconnect. Try the power on button on the case.

Listed at the bottom of the link below you can either chat with a tech or call tech. (Main site for the T6522)

Good luck birm!

I wish I could be more specific.
