Question about Polaris 380 In Ground Pool Cleaner
Can you tell me what to look for, or what to replace?
Here are some things to check:
1. There are belts inside the unit that drive the wheels. These belts often fail (shred) and must be replaced.
2. There is a paddlewheel that drives the turbine that turns the wheels. If the jet that drives the turbine is clogged, then the paddlewheel will not move and the wheels will not turn.
3. There is a water management system inside the bottom of the unit. It looks like a bunch of little hoses. If one of these hoses comes loose, then the water pressure will escape inside the unit and will not be sufficient to drive the wheels.
Hope this helps
