These instructions are from education.ti.org, and worked for me.
1) Take out one of the AAA batteries
2) Hold down the CLEAR button
3) Put the AAA battery back in while still holding down the CLEAR button
4) Let go of the CLEAR button and turn the calculator ON
5) Press CLEAR to get rid of the error message.
Then you should be good! All the applications on my calculator were still intact, so despite the error message, the RAM was never actually cleared.
You said, It was working fine last night but when you woke up this morning the
display has 3 vertical lines and none of the electronic touch pads
work. The burners on top of the stove still work.
What is the model number and how old is the range ?
Try turning the breaker off for 10 minutes and then on again after this allotted time. This may reset the system. Let me know how it works.

Well i suggest calling Texas Instruments The chances of this happening are rare, but the back up battery probably died. This could probably cause data loss and you might lose the program and function data. Call and ask to see what you could do.
