You have to setup a yahoo as your Home Page.
Go to: Tools/Options/Main/Homepage and type http://www.yahoo.com and click ok.
Next time when you open the browser it will start with yahoo page

Problems Installing Adobe Flash Player For Firefox

The MSCONFIG file shows programs (and other services) which are scheduled to load at system startup. But that doesn't tell you which programs and services are currently running.

If you launched the Firefox browser, and then closed it, it's possible that the application file may still be open (running), even though the browser window is no longer visible. (Like other large programs, Firefox doesn't always shut down properly.) Fortunately, it's easy to check on that, and to terminate the application if necessary, by using the Windows Task Manager.

In Windows, right-click on the taskbar (at bottom of screen), and select "Start Task Manager". Then click on the "Processes" tab, and scroll down to see if "firefox.exe" is listed. If so, highlight that entry, and click on "End Process". That will terminate all Firefox processes, so other activities (such as Adobe Flash installation) should be able to proceed.

How do I open a new tab? If I hit control + t it doesn't work

There are many ways to open a new tab. The Control-t or command-t (for windows and mac, respectively) is just one way. There should be a plus button in the tab bar which will open a new tab, and it should be an option in one of the first menus at the top of your screen. If these are not the case, you have a very old version of firefox, and you should download the latest one Here: www.mozilla.com

Unable to load yahoo page ..

Sounds like a dns problem.<br><br>press "widows key (Has a flag printed on it)  r" then type "cmd" then type "ping www.yahoo.com"<br><br> it should give you something like this<br><br>Pinging www.yahoo-ht3.akadns.net [209.191.93.52] with 32 bytes of data:<br><br> Reply from 209.191.93.52: bytes=32 time=51ms TTL=49 <br>Reply from 209.191.93.52: bytes=32 time=53ms TTL=49 <br>Reply from 209.191.93.52: bytes=32 time=58ms TTL=49 <br>Reply from 209.191.93.52: bytes=32 time=51ms TTL=49 <br><br>
Ping statistics for 209.191.93.52:<br>     Packets: Sent = 4, Received = 4, Lost = 0 (0% loss),<br> Approximate round trip times in milli-seconds:<br>     Minimum = 51ms, Maximum = 58ms, Average = 53ms<br>
<br><br> you need the 209.191.93.52 number.  (May be different on yours.) Now take that number and put it whrere you usually type www.yahoo.com in firefox.  If it works its a dns issue and it is usually the service providers end.  If it doesnt work then reinstall firefox.
