Recently moved and lost the cable that connects from the subwoofer to the receiver,,,Model number TS-W60U..Where can I buy a new one ?

A replacement can probably be found at Radio Shack. Aiwa was owned by Sony until 2004 but has been discontinued. "For service repairs of your old Aiwa appliances, you may call 330-1111 for service inquiries or email customercare@solidservice.com.ph. You may also contact the Sony customer hotline no. 02-8787600 or 09178077669 or email info.sph@ap.sony.com."

I have just set up my onkyo 5305 i only have sound to front speakers have checked connection but im lost now in the settings

Onkyo are known for having 2 seperate connections for the rear speakers. 1 set for a surround sound, channel "A", and 1 set for seperate set a speakers, channel "B". check for the second set of connections. Also, your only gonna get sound out of the rear speakers thru surround sound mode when the unit actually sends singal. The sound is determined buy what setting you have the receiver set to.

I have a 42" LG plasma TV with a number of different inputs including a spare HDMI and component sockets, but have no idea whether there is a cable or convertor to allow me to connect to the amplified base...

do you have a cable box? with your wharfdale set-up, you could run the video from the cable box into the tv, and run the seperate audio oupputs from the cable box into the wharfdale.

thats really the most common way to run audio, either that or through hdmi- either way, you will need to hqave a cable box to complete the set-up, cause not that many tv's have audio or hdmi outputs.

I have an ElectroVoice 15" Low Driver paper cone is torn can it be fixed or replaced? I am in South Africa Cape Town

Start looking for a replacement, you won't get it fixed. Try the makers website, they should put you in touch with someone or supply the part.

I need to move my subwoofer another 3 feet and don't have enough speaker cable that ends with the serial port. The cable runs from a fireplace mantle and through the wall. I thought I had enough cable, but...

Unless Bose offers a longer cable, which it doesn't sound like or they would suggest you buy one from them, your options are limited to splicing. Just make sure your connections are good and protected with electrical tape not duct tape or scotch tape. You can even use small wire nuts and electrical tape.

I have just been given a pair of aiwa speakers sx-fz1800,there is two cables comming out of the back, which one do i use.

One pair goes to bigger speaker (woofer) and other pair for smaller speakers in box, to get full frequency response, you need to hook both cables.

Can i connect my bose 5.1 speaker system to my pc directly without using a separate stereo receiver? my pc has a 5.1 hifi with optical sound card and an 800w psu.

no it can not. the sound card in your computer has no power behind it, only a signal. the acoustimass needs power from an amp. you can connect your computer to a home theater reciever and get what you are trying to do, with a simple 3.5 to rca cable.

Technics sa dv280, input selection

You can try starting the music on your computer before trying to change the input on the receiver, maybe it needs to recognize some input before it will change if this doesn't help double check your connections & settings ?
