You can access the Telephone User Interface (TUI) from any
touchtone phone. Voice prompts assist you to set or change the
following profile settings:
• Enable/Disable Mobile Extension
• Configure mobile phone number
• Set password
Use the star key to access previous menu.
Logging In
1. Dial the TUI access number supplied by your Administrator.
2. At the appropriate prompts, enter your desktop extension
number and numeric password. (Use the same password
in the Web Interface.)

Cannot receive calls only rings once and ends call. Can still make calls though

Try a few things. Have you tree plugging another phone into the phone outlet? It could be wetness on the socket. Pull out the jack and look carefully at both the jack and the wall socket. Any sign of corrosion, wetness, rust? If so try cleaning or replace lead or outlet or both.

I bought five Panasonic KX-T7730X phones. The business i work for has a Panasonic KX-TD1232 system. I unpack all phones and tried it on different extensions and won't work. there isn't ant pulse....

A TD system is a DIGITAL phone system and the 7730 phones are ANALOG. I don't know what X means, but I guess they're not from the US :-). Anyway, the ANALOG phones need 4 wires to work, instead of the 2 that the digital phones have. If your installer was lazy and didn't cross-connect 4 wires at the frame or put in 4 bridge clips on each jumper, then you don't have a voice path. Or, XDP is turned on and you'll have a bit of a problem.

If you have an IM and a PM for the TD system, you can find the wiring diagram and the instructions to read the XDP status. Quick answer is the first 2 of every 3 pairs will run to your phone. If you start with a digital phone in the port first, turn on XDP and plug a single line set into the XDP port, you will get dial tone (may have to dial 390 or 391 to enable/disable the XDP twinning) and that dial done will be different from the digital phone. If you don't get dial tone, your first pair wiring is missing. Fix that, turn off XDP and you 77xx series phone will now work in the port.

On the Avaya Phone System, how do you configure two phones to have the same extension. (4412D+)

You can not have 2 phones with the same extension number. But you can programm a "coverage" button on each phone. IF YOU HAVE A MERLIN MAGIX OR MERLIN LEGEND:

At the phone, press :
SPKR #00
Press a button, it will say on the display if the button is "Blank" or has another feature programmed on it. When you find a button you want to program, press it.
On your display will read "list features", press that button.
press the more button until the features listed are "Coverage". Press the button next to "Coverage"
now it will say "Primary", "Secondary" or "Group", Press "PRIMARY", then press the "enter" button on the display.
Next, enter the extension number you want to ring on your phone, and press the "Enter" button on the display.

When finished, press "HOME" to exit programming.

It has been a while, so I might have confused or flip-flopped the order of the extension/primary part, but you will see.

Repeat that for each users phone. Now, when their phone rings, it will ring on your phone as well, so you can pick it up.

IF YOU HAVE AN IP OFFICE:
GO into Manager, select the main extension, then go to the "Mobility" tab, check the "inteernal twinning" box, and select the 2nd extension. Save the config (will only be a merge)

Now when the first extension rings, it will ,make them both ring. If you make a call from the secondary extension, it will show as if you are calling from the main one.

It is always safe to remove once it is done. You have cut off circuit in your device but over exposure may weaken the circuit. Please rate me if you lik this!!

Oil pressure

hey just thought of another possibilty has any work been done recently? make sure lines are not crossed. once I had done a frame off on an 84' sturgis shovelhead and when I took it to my guru to get the last dial in done (i still havent mastered timing adjustments on the twin cam and i don't like getting a face full of oil anyway) I had forgotten to hook up an oil line to the rocker boxes and got to hear about it for weeks about how lucky I was that "bean" noticed it before it burned up the motor but hey what was I payin him for anyway but check everything and don't ferget. what did you do to it just before it started gettin funky. is the filter in upside down? you know simple things first. eliminate the impossible and everything else no matter how improbable is one of your possibilities! have fun and let me know
