Hitachi tv power supply model 51f59a

It will not power up red light blinks 1x thats it

    I turn the tv on and the red light blinks once and turns off.

    Symptoms shows problem in horizontal deflection section of TV.


    You need to have service manual for further check, if you have experience of Tv repair and know basic electronics.

Refer to owners manual ! Blinking indicates the type of fault that is occuring on all your tv sets. example : power light on red - indicator light beside it green but blinks rapidly for half a second rapidly then shuts off. This refers to a faulty lamp or a lamp that is near its expiration. Read your manuals if indicators refer to easy repair sweet, but if it says call tech then bummer...

Do any of the green led lights in the set come on?---red one should be on all the time--blinking would indicate a problem in the power supply at the primary side (INPUT).

Hitachi 51F59A has 3 'lamps', blue, red, & green. No light coming from the blue, both others are lit


don't waste your money go and buy a new smart tv a 50 inch is around 400 and up. Wal-mart, Sam's Club. etc...

Hitachi tv LCD blinking red light tv wont' turn on. replaced lamp model 60V500A


I have hitachi lcd rear projection tv model 60v500A at first I was getting a red spot on centar of tv with in two mounths the spot got bigger. I chanched the lamp but now i don't have a picture, the red indicator on tv is now blinking.
