Question about Insignia IS-LCDTV32 32 in. Television
I have a 19 inch Insignia television which is about a year old. It was on the other day when suddenly the screen went grey (with a darker vertical stripe present on the right hand side of the panel. The volume will go up and down but the television will not change channels. Any suggestions?

Its unfortunately a bad LCD panel. Even though the warranties for these TVs has expired, you should contact the manufacturer because there may be a hidden warranty ( when a manufacturer knows of an issue with a limited number of TVs and decides to quietly take care of those consumers who contact them.)
Be prepared for some resistance from the first person you speak with. Persistance pays off when dealing with the customer relations dept.s of large corporations.

Your TV most likely requires service. You may take the unit to the retailer of service to arrange for repairs. Note: physical damage that may have been caused by the unit tipping over would not be covered under the factory warranty.

It sounds like the LCD controller board is bad. There are more than one versions of this board because this brand of TV are made by more than one manufacturers. You need to get the number printed on the circuit board and look here: http://www.shopjimmy.com/catalogsearch/result/?q=Insignia+IS-LCDTV32+
