Question about Frigidaire GLRT186TA Top Freezer Refrigerator
Model GLRT186TA freezer not staying cold enough. The refrigerator is working fine. Everything has melted in the freezer. The fan is working, I can hear it running in the freezer. We cleaned all the coils. What can the problem be?
There is an external fan near the compressor usually at the bottom of the unit on the back side and if this fan does not run the freezer will not freeze. u can also look for a defrost timer located near the bottom of the refrigerator with the door open or just under the freezer in the refrigerator compartment. It will look like a plastic screw that can be turned only one way with a flathead screwdriver because of its design. Some times these timers just get stuck and will work again if u rotate it with a screwdriver one revolution or two. Allow an hour to see if freezer works after tuning. Please rate me
