When plugged in tow lights on the computer board are flashing read and making a clicking noise..the fan moves back and forth simultaneiously with the clicking. The lights and compressor are not coming on either

It sounds like you're having a control board PCB issue. You can often get replacement parts directly from Vinotemp. Of course, I'm sure the issue will be easier to resolve if your unit is still under warranty. If not, they should still be able to sell you the parts you need and then you or a qualified repair person can replace whatevers needed. Instructions for some service issues can be found on the Vinotemp website in the Customer Service section. You can also request service for your unit there. Hope you get it fixed!

I sounds to me like the compressor is overheating. There is an overload on the compressor itself. Follow the wires where they go into the compressor. There will be a black wire going from the power cord to the overload. These can be purchased at appliance parts stores. Make sure there is no dirt build up on condenser coils or a kink in the tubing.

SPEEDLITE 580EX TTL Flash: flash is making a constant beating/clicking noise ...
Loosen the two small screws under the flash on the swivel head. Turn flash on. You may need to twist the head just slightly. Flash bulb moves back and forth in the swivel head when zooming. If you dropped the flash, this may have jarred it from the track. I had the same problem with mine, and the above solution fixed it. Zoom works again and no clicking noise. Let me know.

My vinotemp 28 bottle wine cooler makes a terrible noise when it is running. could it be the fan? I unplugged it for several days, plugged it back in, and it ran quietly for a couple of hours before...
Check to see if there is ice built-up on evaporator coil then fan would hit it .
If you got ice built-up you have other issues

I have a 12 bottle vinotemp that is making a chirping sound. The fan is slow and then faster, also there is a red & green lite on the circut board that flashes. Where can i see about getting this...
I have a different model Vinotemp, but experienced the same exact problem described here where the LEDs on the controller board blinks and there is a clicking or chirping noise. It turns out there was a bad electrolytic capacitor on the controller board that was visibly noticeable (it was bulging). Replacing the capacitor fixed the problem. On my model, it was a 1000 microfarad 16v cap, available at RadioShack or any store that sells electronic components for less than $1. Of course, you will need some soldering skills for this fix.

My Vinotemp VT-12TEDS has no front panel lights or temperature reading. The unit flashes the red and green LEDs and clicks in sync with the flashes. The external cooling fans attempts to move, but does...
I also have the same problem and am looking for a solution short of buying a $35 replacement board with $10 shipping for a fridge that costs $60 new.

My ps2 slim lens move foward and makes wierd and unusual noises it also doesn't even read any dvds
turn it on wait wen it makes de noise for a minute but wit no disc then open it move the lens back and forth very lightly if you do it to fast the ps2 might not read for a day or 2 when ur done moving the lens back and forth intel it don't move lightly any more then try a disc if it don't work do this process intel it works but wait 5 min before you do it again so the ps2 won't reck for half a day before you turn the ps2 off to do the process ithhis works for me 1st or 2nd times

I have a vinotemp it stopped cooling no light and keeps making a ticking sound, I tried to unplug it for a while and plug it back and the ticking sound goes back again but still no light no cooling, please...
You can fix this for $5. You can confirm the problem by taking the back off and see of the red and green led on the circuit board are flashing. They will be steady if the board is ok. The fan is usually just rocking too like it is trying to start. The part is a capacitor and is $5, but you will need to be able to remove and solder a part on the circuit board. If you need the part, just let me know.
