Re: My phone is not working

Is your SIM card all white? If it is, this could be the problem. Some issue with certain SIM cards and this phone. If your SIM card is all white, take the SIM card back to the store.

Phone won't switch on

still can fix it not by you,, in the service center they're going to put cable in your fone, and check your phone if there's no hardware to repair. and if it's all ok and did boot.. the're just going to reflash your fone ... with firmware.. and everything will back to normal... did your power switch bounce? if not that will the problem and they can fix that and less charge...

Why doesn't it ring?

I once had a phone like that and the cause turned out to be a dud battery.

My iphone won't charge it shows the red battery charging sign and then fades off it was showing the apple logo but now is not even doing that. did not drop it or get it wet Please Help!

I found the solution:

I was having pretty much the same problem. My iPhone 3G needed charging so I plugged it in using the usb cable and AC adapter. Hours later, when I went to check on it, the display was stuck at the red "dead battery" indicator, and would not charge.

I tried performing a hard reboot several times (holding down the home button and power button for 10 seconds), but that didn't help at all. I thought I was going to have to do a factory reset and restore, but I decided to try one more thing first... I put the phone into DFU mode and when iTunes automatically launched, instead of proceeding any further, I cancelled the operation and rebooted the phone. It then started up properly (although still in need of a charge) and is now charging as it should.

Hope it works for you as well. If so, please pay it forward and post this solution for someone else that is having the same problem : )

My battery is not charging although the charger works fine

There's a possibility that the battery is bad and it won't hold a charge. Send the phone to the authorized repair center and see if they have a spare battery that you could borrow to test the phone.

Use different battery then try to charge the phone. It the battery hold a charge, then it's the old battery that has the problem.

Thank you and good luck!

Have a problem with start button

Im telling the solution step by step.It ll work . you dont need to go 4 the firmware v5.05 If ur phone restarted 3 or 4 times and switched off automatically.
Try this Remove the battery and Micro SD card
2] wait about 5 minutes
3] Then switch On the phone WITHOUT the memory card Now ur phone working well without restarting
4] Then you must restore Factory settings frm the Settings Menu [default security code:12345] {i know most of people have done this thing,but remember u have 2 go with the correct order.Unless it will not work.OK}
5] Now apply a theme. The theme's size should be below 100kb
6] Now ur phone working fine without the Micro SD
7] Then wait about 5 minutes and Switch off ur phone
8] Remove the battery and insert the Micro SD
{Don t Format the memory card}
9] Switch On ur Nokia 3110c phone.
10] Now Keep ur free Phone memory space [Not the memory card's free space]between 470kb - 499kb.
Now surely ur 3110c working fine about 5 months. During these time u can1
1] Send/receive any file via bluetooth.
2] Enjoy Music,video, GPRS,Yahoo Go .....etc
3] Also u can Update music library anytime. but remember below
1] Don t try to change themes.{u have to stick with a theme}
2] Charge ur phone in ON mode
3] Dont fully discharge the battery
4] Start charging ur phone when there is only a bar on Battery indicator
5] Dont erase calender notes
Make sure about above 5 Donts
Dont worry if ur phone restarted once.{U know the problem is restarting several times and automatically swiched off.}

My battery went dead this morning i charged it this evening and it is just showing a battery and timer wont switch on or charge??

from what I hear, you have either fully charged your battery or your battery is pretty much completely dead.

your options:

1. If it's completely dead and won't hold a charge it's time to purchase another battery, this happens from time to time so don't freak out about it.
2. If it's fully charged, try taking the battery completely out of the phone, and re-inserting it after a few minutes, sometimes cell phones need to be reset.
3. ensure that your charger is working properly, if its not getting juice to it neither is your phone.
4. try to dial your number just to see what happens to the phone.
5. if someone else u know has a charger like yours try to borrow theirs to charge your phone possibly ruling out a bad charger

Automatic switched off

Is your battery fully charged when this happens?If so,it is not a battery problem.Check that all your points are touching properly for a good connection.Remove the battery,remove the card,clean the contacts of all using a little isopropyl alcohol on a cue tip then replace the card and then the fully charged battery.Good luck.

Try this, for I had the same several times.step 1) Take out the battery completely and bring it back in again. Turn the phone on and if it still doesn't work it might be the case that the phone needs to be charged first. do step 1 again but don't turn the phone on but charge it for about 1 hour and check it again.Good luck, Rebecca
