Control panel add new hardware then next and follow instructions
if it does'nt find your driver then option choose from list
a list will appear if you see the driver click then next if you don't see the driver then scroll to add new hardware usually bottom of page then highlight and next follow instructions
let me know if this helped
also you might want to check and be sure the sound card is secure

Audio driver installation failed

Disable the device from the BIOS. Reboot and run a registry cleaner - use a good one like Easeus. Download -  as in Save, not Run - the latest version directly from Realtek. Physically disconnect your pc from the internet (shutdown the wireless or unplug the LAN cable/USB modem , shutdown you security soft, reboot and enable the device from BIOS. Try installing now using the downloaded installer.

Have cd13v75201004 sound card but canot cat sound from my computer orion computer

check device manager. This can be done in Win XP by right clicking my computer, properties, hardware, then click device manager. Alternative way to enter device manager is by clicking start menu, control panel, system (performance and maintenance), hardware then device manager.

In the deice manager window see if any question marks or exclamation points are visible.

If so, see if it the mark is for an audio device.

If it is an audio device, uninstall the device.

Next, try to install the sound card driver again. If that fails, the enter the device manager and uninstall the sound card again, restart the PC, ignore the hardware manager, and try to install the sound card driver software again.

I would update the sound card driver anyway just in case. Drivers can get corrupt. Just happens.

Hope this works.

No to connect,

Install from a list or specific location,

Select Don't Search, I will choose the driver to install,

Hi trucker, click on the link I have listed below.

This will show all the drivers for the OS Win XP, for you're Satellite A105-S2071. From time to time a driver will not install correctly. This means either the driver is not correct or windows is just being stuborn. Running the .exe usually installs the software but other times the driver must be installed through device manager. (The correct driver). The link above shows me the sound driver files name is (sa100audiox.exe)
(Realtek Audio Driver for Windows XP (v5.10.0.5188; 12-06-2005; 22.98M)
Creat a folder on you're desktop & name it Realtek Driver.
Download the driver file into this folder & uncompress the .exe by double clicking on it.
Try installing normally. Than re-start the system. Test you're sound. If you're sound still does not function, install through device manager. Right click on My computer icon. Slide down to & left click properties. Click the hardware tab, than click the device manager button. Scroll down to & click the + sign next to sound, audio and game controller. (It may already be opened).
Right click once on the yellow ! point & left click update driver.
Show windows the way to the folder you created on you're desktop & click ok. Windows hardware wizard should install the the correct software you have givin it.

Good Luck!

No sound driver found

Usually if its onboard sound or a sound card that came stock with your system Windows Update should be able to find it; go into device manager and uninstall your sound device…then reboot and allow Windows to find your sound device then allow Windows to search Windows Update for the driver (this might take a minute).
