Question about Kyocera Mita FS 3800 Laser Printer
We have now replaced the waste toner box 4 times this week and the last time we noticed different layers of colors in the box. Normally the waste toner is a gray-black color.
You say there are colors in the box but the 3800 is not a color printer. If it is one of the desktop color printers there is a setting change that may help. It is a service mode setting called "T7". If you print documents that don't use much toner this setting will reduce what is dumped in the bottle during operation. If you call the Kyocera End User Help Desk they can remote in and make the change if they think it will help. 800-255-6482
