Kenmore 90 Series Gas Dryer that drys for 10 mins & shuts off...
We have a Kenmore 90 Series Gas Dryer that will heat up, dry for about 10 mins then shuts itself off. If we wait about 30 mins. then we can start it up again. Seems to be overheating but cannot figure out how to check or what to check. As far as we can tell, outside vent is clear. Any suggestions? Thank you.

If you are having problems with your gas dryer not heatingthe most common problem is that the ignitor goes bad. Even though it glowssometimes it is still not working properly.
if you dryer is gas check out this gas no heat tip....
If you have an electric dryer, you can have many differentthings that can go wrong causing the dryer not to heat.
check outthis electric no heat tip...
The trouble is actually with the start bearings in the drive motor,I bet you have a small hummmm or GRRRRR right at the start, as if the unit wants to hesitate.
Anytime you have a dryer that starts then shutsoff and must "cool" down, it is the motor.
