PC Starts Up But After About 10 Minutes goes to a black screen

On the black screen it is asking to reboot by inserting the floppy disk which I do not have. Is there anything I can do to solve this problem?

Thank you

Turn on my computer Inspiron 530S starts to boot up gives the dell booting page then goes to 0 Diskette error choose F1 to continue and F2 to start setup. I have tried F2 and change it to no floppy disk...

Sounds like someone may have left a non-bootable floppy disk in the drive. Check to be sure there isn't a floppy in the drive. Also, when in setup, it's the boot order that you'll want to change.

When my computer starts it goes to a black screen and says "no bootable device jnsert boot disk and press any key" what can i do

Normal 0

This error message - "No bootable device. Insert boot disk and press any key" means -

The PC cannot see a boot file/disk on either the hard disk or floppy drive.
Check the floppy drive and remove and floppy disk.
If there was no disk in the floppy drive then it is a hard disk problem.
Check the BIOS to see if the hard disk is detected, if not open the case and re-seat the data cable on the hard drive and also where it connects to the motherboard disk controller.
If it still gives this error message and the BIOS does not detect the hard drive, then the hard drive is probably faulty.
A further check on the hard drive, remove the hard drive and connect it to an USB hard drive adapter and connect it to a working computer's USB port, if this computer does not detect it as an external storage device then the hard drive is faulty.
To get the computer working again, install a new hard drive in your computer and then install Windows on the new hard drive plus the computer's device drivers and your programs.

When I reload windows it gose to a blank screen

This issue may occur if you have a CD, a DVD or a floppy disk in your CD, DVD, or floppy drive when you start the computer. So to resolve this issue, remove the media in your CD, DVD, or floppy drive and then restart the computer.

Or else you have to Insert the boot-able disk and then reboot the system.

Windows Vista shuts down when trying to access floppy drive

floppies are very much vulnerable to viruses. there might be an issue with the computer getting affected. i strongly recommend that you run a antivirus program before proceeding further. good luck!

Have you tried to put a disk in the floppy drive when it starts up?
It probably had a disk in before last close down, and is looking for it now when you start up.

Please vote if this was helpfull :-)

Bought a usb floppy drive reader to convert my floppies to my laptop. have plugged in the usb cord. what do I do now?

Its easy to use:

Step 1). Just on your lap.
After complete boot

Step2). Insert your floppy connector one end to your USB port of Lap.

Step 3). Double Click on My Computer Icon.
The my Computer will be open.
and if every thing is ok, a floppy disk drive icon [A: or B:] will be shown in the window.

Step 4). Insert your floppy disk into the Drive.
wait till the floppy disk drive light goes off.

Step 5). Double click on floppy disk drive icon [A: or B:].

and the content of the floppy will be open.
