I have the Maytag model MMV5000 what size is it

I need to replace my microwve and its an over the range microwave. but i dont know the size to get. the one i have is maytag model MMV5000. if you could tell me the size of it that would help

Normally you have to separate the door panels (as shown in the attached photo) and then you'll see the previously hidden screws you need to remove.

Or you can watch a YouTube video (not a video I made) that demonstrates how it's done.

Maytag MMV5186aaq touch pad doesn't recognize touches on all pressure points. I can't even set the clock.

That looks like you are in need of a replacement key pad.
I can't advise where to get one from as I don't know which country you are in.

Maytag microwave suddenly died after 20 seconds of use - lost all power. Outlet is good. Anyone else experienced this? My cup of tea looks sooo sad - like my wallet... Appreciate your time and...

Replacr the internal fuse you will find when you remove the cabinet. It will be near where the cord enters the cabinet. It is a special fuse ... get a replacement at most hardware of appliance parts stores.

No power, circuit good

-oven fuse
-power cord
-circuit board fault

any of these could be culprit

Broken microwave

The first thing I would suggest is a hard reset. Unplug the unit for a minute or so. Then plug it back in, set the clock and try again.

If that doesn't work, leave it unplugged for maybe an hour.

Then please let us know if the hard reset does not fix it.

(It may need work on the controller or keypad)

MMV5000 cavity light off when is pressed...

The wiring diagram indicates that there is a cavity lamp switch on this model. It should be under the control panel or somewhere else on the underside of the oven. The noise you describe could indicate trouble with the fan or the magnetron, etc. If you could describe it in more detail we may be able to offer more advice.
