Usually a power surge will fry the transformer unless sometimes if your lucky the manuf. installed a fuse either in line or on the circuit board. 5 amp or 3 amp....any thing bigger wont protect your equipment.

There is no flame sensor per se, unless it has an ignition type pilot. Only temperature activated switches employed.
The limit switch to the left of fan switch is "Nordyne" part #626259. This switch is rated at140 degrees. When the temperature inside firebox exceeds 140 degrees, switch "opens" removing power from the secondary of 24vac xfmr.
The fan switch to the right of the limit switch is "Nordyne" part #626337. This switch closes when firebox temp reaches 115 degrees. Opens at 70 degrees.
At the top to the left of fan is a smaller limit switch, which is a secondary safety switch. The increased temperature within the heat exchanger box activates this switch. It is wired in series with the thermostat wiring.
Hi, this is a 4 ton package unit, most filters are in the home. There should be a drop down grill somewhere in the home, maybe more then 1. If not, the filter would go on the blower back side of the evaporator coil. Remove the panel and see if it has a slot for a filter. Shastalaker7
if there are two wires to gas valve check voltage between these two wires while the furnace is going through a start up if you never get a call or voltage to valve your control board is bad, if you are getting voltage ,your valve is bad
