I have the same thing except normally when I unplug it, it fixxes it for a while. I did have the antenna cable to the vcr then to the tv. Now I have the antenna cable straight to the tv. And the vcr plugged into the video input. It still does it, on both the tv and the video setting.

I have the same TV and same problem. Vertical colored lines. My TV is out of warranty and I can't even find a local tech to fix it!! Is it even worth fixing? I was going to use it out by my pool but the lines are so thick now it's impossible. Any suggestions?

If you have cable tv try unplugging and plugging in that cable if that doesnt work you might have a bad cable. check for damage along the cord or bends in the metal ends sometimes that can also be the problem

Green vertical lines across the screen.

Green lines on LCD screens generally means physical damage. Did you drop it or bump it by chance? Physical could also include the cable that you are using. Try using a different cable, or make sure it is connected all the way.

Screen went black with a couple vertical colored lines

Check the tcons connections ( both flex cables and also the LVDS cable) if that doesnt solve it would suspect the Tcon as being defective. For further assistance please respond to this same post.

I have evenly spaced, rows of two vertical green and red lines from top to bottom of my vizio plasma P50HDTV10A

Somehow when switching between the tv and the dvd my wife encountered the pink and green, thin, parallel, vertical lines on the screen. The picture was visible with the lines. I turned the tv off and on but the problem persisted. Unplugged tv for about two minutes and after plugging it back in and turning it on the vertical lines very gone and the picture was back to normal.

Sound but the screen on my westinghouse 32 inch flat screen is solid lime green

By "sound but the screen on my westinghouse 32 inch flat screen is solid lime green" Do you mean that you have sound but the screen is green? If yes it means that an analog signal is being fed to a digital input. Did you recently change the input cables at the back from one port to another? If not then please describe what are colors of the cabels you are using(Yellow, Red, White or Red Blue Gren etc.,) and what port they are connected to so that I can tell you whether its a problem with the connections or the tv itself.

There are two places to look for the problems, the backlight inverter board and the power supply. Look at the power supply first since it is easier to get to, look for burnt parts, bad capacitors, etc.

Westinghouse LCD TV - broad vertical green and blue lines

try to go to the factory reset and see if that helps. If not, you can then check your connection. if you use component (red, green and blue for video and red and white for audio), make sure all the color matches when you plug it in. if everything have been checked then you need to replace the main board and it should correct the problem.

What kind of connections are you using?

If component (red, green, blue) double check to make sure they are seated properly. I'm thinking it sounds like the blue one got loose.
