I have a Pioneer BT Unit 2- In Car Bluetooth has stopped working

I know it is not the phone as I have tried another phone and it did not work. It was working fine but won't connect now.

Same problem. It worked fine and now it will not display connect menu. If I use a phone that has been connected it will connect from the phone (manual connect).

Sounds like it finds the stereo, but won't pair? You need to check with Treo. I know that my Treo 700WX did not pair with my stereo headsets until I downloaded a patch upgrade to the phone.

Go to the pioneer web site and search upgrade or firmware for your model and should direct you. Sometimes it's sent from the company or a possible download.

Get the right cable for Ipod and connect it to Ipod Aux, For your bluetooth if you have amps connected all the way Around to your speackers it won't works.
Have unleast 2 speaker connect it to your stereo unit.

Iphone phonebook transfer

I got a solution:

Used hardware:

Pioneer DEH-P65BT
Jailbroken!! Iphone 3g FW: 3.1.2.
Mac or PC (addressbook on Mac or Outlook on Win)

Steps:

- Sync your contacts trough Itunes with your PC or Mac
- Go to addressbook on Mac (or Outlook on win) and export all your contacts to a vcf file (Called Vcards in addressbook)
- Copy the vcf file to your Iphone (iphoneExplorer / SSH / DiskAid or other solution)
- Download iBluetooth (I used it from the Xsellize source)
- Set up you radio to PhoneBook Transfer (Your phone is not connected to the radio at this point)
- In iBluetooth browse to the VCards.vcf and send it to the Pioneer unit.
- It now says transfer done and the phonebook is stored.

Posted this because it took me days to get it working. Haven't found a working solution on the net.

Also transfering the phonebook from another phone isn't a solution because however the phonebook will be stored it won't be usable by your iphone. The pioneer registers the phonebook to a device so it's absolutely necesarry to transfer it from the actual iphone (or send it from a laptop with a spoofed BT-Mac that matches your iphone)

Good luck!

Pioneer DEH -P7050BT Problem with Bluetooth connection using Nokia N95. Cannot establish a permanent connection. Disconnects almost immediately. Unable to download phonebook.

There is a file that needs to be downloaded to the Pioneer using the Software Update facility. You can get this file from your Pioneer dealer. After this, you will need to play with your device until you get the BT Audio to connect properly, then connect the Telephone. I spent about an hour trying this and then I was successful. My Nokia E71 now connects when I start the car on both the BT Audio and Telelphone connections without continually disconnecting.
