I have a printer lexmark x1270 all in one need to add the printer but don't have the cd to install the printer

Please visit the Lexmark website to download and install the Lexmark X1270 Printer Driver on your computer. Select your operating system, download and execute the file. Follow the instructions on your computer screen.
For the Lexmark OCR scan software, it is only available on the Lexmark installation disc that came with your printer. If you lost the disc, please contact Lexmark Technical Support Center for assistance.

I suggest not to plug the Lexmark X1270 printer to your computer yet. If you have the installation cd, insert it in your computer and install the software. Go to the link mentioned here.. http://driverscollection.com/?H=X1270&By=Lexmark . This has the drivers for your printer. Once you download them , go to the control panel and click Printers.
Here you will have an option that says Add Printer. Click that, and from there on, it should be pretty simple .

go to lexmark .com and check for youre model

This is a easiest matter. Don't be anxious.
I am sorry to say your printer driver is not built in with windows. So!
you will have to buy the printer driver CD and install it. Hope you will
have better perform.

The only way to setup the printer without the proper drivers would be to use windows add new printer. However windows does not have lexmark x1270 listed. You can dlownload the software from lexmark & install the software / drivers without using the cd.
