Having problem with lennox furnace Model ML193DF090P48C-02.Furnace has been working but now and getting worse furnace will kick on 20 seconds or so but nothing.Igniter does not come on.When it finally

Usually when your flame sensor gets dirty, the igniter and burner come on for approx.15 seconds, then shuts down. After 3 tries it will lock the furnace out. You have to shut the power off to the furnace then turn it back on to reset it. You need to turn all the power off to the furnace and remove the flame sensor, clean it with some very fine steel wool and put it back in. Be careful not to handle the Sensor (metal) part with your fingers. Turn the power on and set your thermostat so that it will call for Heat. That should fix, it if not you may need a new flame sensor.

Intertherm furnace model # MMHB-070ABHR-06 red light blinks two times

Number of flashes mean different things for diff models. The meanings of those flashes should be posted somewhere on the unit; usually inside front of the bottom service panel. Though you can't truly diagnose a problem by number of flashes they can give you an idea of where to look for a problem. There are a ton of videos and how-to's about furnaces on youtube by real service techs. Most modern furnaces have basically the same set-up and features so don't worry about your paticular brand; but of course that would be the best place to start looking. You could start here to familiarize yourself with your brand of furnace:

Hope this helps.

has any one checked your thermostat. as soon as the furnace shuts down then turn up the stat and see if it starts right up. i would think the stat function should have been checked also.

We just installed a honeywell thermostat, our furnace is an old furnace and now it won't shut off. it is a hot air oil furnace. any suggestions

for a quick test -- remove the wires from the thermostat and see if the heater shuts off then,,, if it does shut off then the problem is the type ( model ) of the thermostat and it may not be compatible with that heater or there is something wrong with the way that the thermostat is wired. ( make sure that the thermostat is reading the correct temperature and is in fact in the off position ). also double check the wire color code at the heater and make sure that the right wires are connected proper.
what model is the thermostat ?

My furnace keeps blowing fuses why it is a nordine model #e2eb-015ha

The first thing i would do is shut off all the power to the unit and disconnect all the wiring from the thermostat. then i would install a jumper wire from R to W on the circuit board and see if the furnace runs good. if it runs good and does not blow a fuse, your problem is in the wiring between the t-stat and the furnace. If this does not help, please indicate if your system is a straight a/c, furnace system. or if it is installed with a heat pump. also does it make any difference what the temperature is outside. for example, does the fuse only blow when the temp drops down into the 30s or does it not make any difference.

My furnace comes on and heates the house for about

There is a limit switch that is likely opening. Be sure your filters are clean and all registers and grilles are open and not obstructed. If the problem continues, you may have a dirty indoor coil or undersized duct work. Some models have a window where you can observe the LED lights. If when the furnace shuts down you see any blinking, you need to count the flashes and we can figure out what the problem is from there.
