If you have an owners manual, I would check there to find how to reset it. You will want to enter the "menu" if there is one, and discover whether you can reset the password. If you don't have an owner's manual, you might be able to find one at the printer manufacturer's website in the support section.

Apparently others have tried to obtain a service manual for that model, and one was not available. Frustration was expressed, but it did not result in obtaining a service manual for that model.

Here is another approach to try for repairing it. Perhaps a service manual for a similar model, since your is from 2013, would be helpful. On the back of the printer you will see a rectangular slot for the power adapter (nicknamed: Brick) to plug into.

If you do not have the adapter, then you must get one. They can be ordered through any Dell authorized service deal or through Dell online.

No such printer. 5110cn, 5100cn, 3100cn, 3110cn etc.
Their biggest color laser that they have currently is the 5110cn.

5210n, and 5310n are B&W printers.

But all manuals for Dell printers can be found on the Dell site.
Just do a search on the model.
Or you can do a search by service tag (service tag can be found on a little white sticker where you put the tomer in).
