Can this be fixed or is it time to shop for a new pressure washer?

The water  would come through even if the pump was not working as long as you triggered it and the pump was free enough to move. Either  akey that drives the pump or the pump itself is broken. I would suspect a sheared woodriff key on thefdriveshaft from the motor to the pump.

I just fixed this problem on a durabilt pressure washer. If the pump is running without pressure and alot of water is running out the bottom try the following. Take out the 4 screws to remove the handle, then take out the 5 screws holding the front and back cover together. Look on the bottom of the pump near the exit line to see if the fitting for the soap injector is broke off. If it is, remove the remaining threads with an easyout and replace the part or replace the injector with a plug.

The problem is that the pump is manufactured with a cheap plastic gear inside the pump which wears out relatively quickly because A: its cheap plastic riding against steel gears and B: they used a very thin oil instead of heavy grease to lubricate the gearbox. Soulution: get a new pump because this one is junk.

Will start and run fine water comes out but has no pressure

Maybe bad pump. Remove wand and wand hose, run machine with water in. High pressure water coming out of wand/hose connection, bad wand or hose. No high pressure water, bad pump, replace.

The engine runs but the water will not come out under pressure

You must have blown out the cones (thats how the water gets compressed inside of pump) in the water pump-

You could try this though on the back of the washer right on top of the water pump is a black knob about the size of your hand that knob will adjust the pressure try turning it and see although I doubt that is the problem-

A pressure washer is not like a compressor you HAVE to pull the trigger every minute NEVER let it just sit there running without pulling the trigger to release the pressure that Dewalt 3800 psi washer you have is a great machine in fact we own 4 of them and they are pretty powerful and easy to damage if left running alone.

I bought a honda pressure washer power boss 3000. I load the gasoline, start the machine, but pressure water is not coming out from the trigger. i tried so many things , but can t get started.

If you are using a water tank for water supply, remove the water supply line from the pressure washer and connect a water hose from a faucet. Turn the water on, then crank the engine. Pull the trigger of the spray gun until water comes out. When then water starts to spray properly the release the trigger, shut engine down with pressure on the line then reconnect the water supply from the tank to the pressure washer. If this fixes the problem then the problem was "air-locked"! Happens alot with new pressure washers that have never been run. Engine runs , not getting any water flow when trigger pressed.

Disconnect hoses.
Look for kink in water hose.
Check incoming water connection for filter washer
Replace filter washer
If you don't have a filter washer, put one in.
Hook up water, and turn on
Water should come out other side of pump.
Turn on machine.
Do you get pressured water out of pump.
If no pressure, then pump is suspect
Hook up washer hose without gun
Does pressure come out of washer hose
Finally, the gun trigger may be bad.

We had to buy guns now and then.
Search for pressure washer guns
Following link shows guns we used:

Water goes thru. have hydrulic oil to level. gun semas to stick on. NOT GETTING ANY PRESSURE AT NOSSEL.

Hydraulic oil?
Is this a pressure washer?
Pump should be half full of SAE20 or SAE30 non-detergent motor oil.
Engine should have 10W30 motor oil.

If you have a pressure washer ... and not water is coming out end of gun:
Take all hoses off machine.
Look at incoming water hose connection.
The should be a filter washer.
Clean or replace filter washer.
Hook up water and turn on water.
Water should come out other side of pump.
Turn on power washer and see if water coming out of pump is pressurized.
Now hook up pressure hose without gun.
Turn on pressure washer and see if water comes out of hose and is pressurized.
Finally, the gun may be bad.
We used to replace guns when they went bad.

Can't get water to come threw nozzel

Sounds like you may have some calcium buildup in the hose, gun or unloader. Take the unloader (where the hoses hookup) apart and clean away the deposits. This should solve your problem.

Sounds like the governor is stuck. My pressure washer speeds up when it has to pump. Don't know if yours uses vacuum to trigger governor or direct linkage. Good Luck.
