Easy fix dont try to turn it on just put into a bowl of rice and cover it leave it in rice for 3days and try again this will soak up water and system should be dry enough to start back up just dont keep trying to tuen it on or you will fry the system leave it alone for 3-6days or untill fully dry and no water visible put in bowl screen down so water can run out of system

Keeps turning off

Hi mccuad,

You might be thinking why your PSP always turning off when it is being used. It may just be that you're accidentally moving the power so slight. There are several options on how to diagnose what is causing the problem. One of them is trying to observe the behavior of your PSP when being played. I recommend trying the following steps to detect the issue of your PSP.

1. Try checking the battery if it is in place correctly. Make sure that the cover over the battery is pushed in properly.

2. Please determine if the battery has ran out or you can just put another battery on it.

3. Please check if you're not pressing the power switch accidentally. Make sure that you're not holding the power button up while you play.

4. Scan your PSP for possible viruses.

5. Ensure that the game is functioning properly.

Hope it helps.

Thank you for using FixYa.

I accidentally updated my psp to 6.20 now how can i downgrade it to 5.30 again is anybody can suggest what to do

well if its a 3000 ur out of luck, im sorry but you cant downgrade 3000, if you have a 2000 or below then you need a pandoras battry and only phat batterys can be pandorized and you need the necessary firmwares and custom firmwares,

try googling psp hacks.com go there they may help you as they update their site with new software that is coming out for the newer psps, not psp gos though

Wet psp volume and home does not work, can not recharge battery

Your PSP is bricked, and unfortunately this cannot be fixed because its a hardware brick. The PSP needs to be replaced.

Sorry
