As soon as I try to open an attachment it ends my explorer session and closes explorer - starting a new session. Also now every time I open up mail is asks if I wish to start a new session or restart the old one.
I find that I cannot connect to yahoo email in firefox. Windows mail, IE7 will connect OK. when I click on yahoo mail in firefox, connection bar keeps flashing. I have looked everywhere to allow cookies, I have reloaded firefox 3 times. I am at a lose , where to look next

Hi there, after open internet explorer click tools option. From there select internet options and there you found a option" delete temporary internet files, history, cookies." Just delete them & then close the internet explorer. After that go for email reading, attachment etc . The page will open and work normaly. Thanks & waiting for your feedback.
This is a browser issue, try to delete all cookies and clear all cache. Please follow the steps provided below.
Internet Explorer : 1. Open Internet explorer > Tools > Internet Option 2. On the General Tab under Browsing History, click on Delete 3. On the pop up windows that opens, make sure all check box are checked that has
cookies, temporary files, and etc..., then click on delete 4. Just close and re-open Internet Explorer
Mozilla Firefox 1. Open Mozilla Firefox > Tools > Clear Private data 2. On the pop up windows, make sure all boxes are checked as well and click on
close all open internet explorer windows. Close down all open programms. Start your internet explorer again and logon to yahoo, is it working now?
If you have still problems quit the browser and restart your PC.
Wait till all startup programs are running correctly before you start up your webbrowser.
Also maybe you have to many programms in the systray, each of them is taking up resources, You can close or deactivate the programms you don't need at the moment. This will free up more resources for the browser actions.
try clearing the browsing history in internet explorer options so it clears out the cookies just go to internet explorer options and click delete it should be under browsing history then try again it should then let you open attachments in yahoo
My best answer based on the information given is that it could be a
compatibility issue with google chrome and yahoo email. Im not sure if
google chrome was tested with yahoo email yet by the yahoo staff. Try
opening the attachment in another browser such as firefox or internet
explorer. If you can open attachments with either those browsers, then its possible that google chrome isnt fully supported yet. Youll still be able to read and send email with google chrome but you may have to you one of the two browsers that i mentioned in order to get attachments.
-Save your account to which folder or drive you want in your PC or Laptop. -Open your active email address => Compose a new email =>Attach Files => Click the outlook file you want to attach, =>Click the Open button => Hit the Attach Files button => Then send.
