Question about Dell Axim X50v Pocket PC
It's not the cradle that's the problem. The problem is internal... a short in the **** poor wiring creating a short circuit. The internal wires need to be re-soldered.
Dell ditched the PDA line because it could not support it's JUNK. These PDAs were designed to break.

Mine has a cable connector that I will try and see if it works better than the cradle.

The original Dell Axim X50 cradles are just plain poorly desinged. The only cure that I can think of is to replace the cradle.
