Can't locate the music on the player in windows explorer. Every folder seems to be empty. The player itself recognize and plays about 230 titles...but where are these files located on the player and why...

The location of all the music on your Sansa is Clip+/Internal Memory/Music.

If the folder is empty, you should now think on which mode you you transfer the songs MTP or MSC. If you transfer songs on MTP, you can only see them on that mode and vice versa.

Try to check the current settings on your Sansa by going to MENU/SETTINGS/SYSTEM SETTINGS/USB MODE

Try changing the USB modes and check the folder again.

If songs are not showing on both modes, possible that the files are hidden or corrupted.

Try this method...

Hook up your mp3 player to your computer
Go to your desktop and double left click on "My Computer"
When it opens you will see listing that says "Devices with Removal Storage" your mp3 player should be listed there.
Right click on your mp3 player, and a window will open, right click on "Open" and now your files/songs should be visible.
Hold the left click down and drag it across all the files/songs that you do not want this will highlight the files/songs you do not want, release, right click and then click on "Delete"
Now you mp3 player should be clear of the files/songs you do not want.

Please do not forget to rate me.

Song's won't load, even though the files show

Yeah, the songs are in the wrong format for your player. There are some DRM-protected songs that allow you to play the song on your computer, but they won't actually play on an mp3 player even though they appear to transfer. If you download ALL of your songs in mp3 format, you will never have this problem.
