Re: How to connect Motoyuva W270 with PC for internet...
Hello, I just confirmed with Motorola customer care, sicne I also faced the same problem. It seems the Moto W270 does NOT have a modem (hardware) hence one CANNOT access internet on the PC via the data cable, internet access is possible only on the handset and not on the PC

Does the non wifi modem give out DHCP addresses?
Can the wifi modem be set up to receive it's IP address from DHCP?
If the answer to both these questions is Yes then that's what to do as a first step. Make sure the wifi modem DHCP service is disabled as it must NOT give out DHCP addresses.
Connect the ethernet port of the non wifi modem to one of the LAN ports of the wifi modem and NOT the DSL/WAN port. The wifi modem is not participating in any DSL connectivity at all so it's DSL light will remain off. The non wifi modem is doing the DSL duty so it's DSL light should be correctly illuminated.
I have an internet connection at home which 512 Mbps. I have bought Dlink Switch DES-1005d. I have 3 pc at home. I want to share the internet connection among the three pc. I have tried just by connecting the pc with CAT5 cables. I just have the received packet and then I do not have internet connection at all. Please can someone help me?
When you use USB for networking the "Network" it is on is 10.10.0.1 or similar, Now the Ethernet is 184.108.40.206 or similar. You simply MUST enter the correct address if you wish to change anything. Use the Connect to the Internet wizard and ensure you choose correct net, address. & if you have two Nic's Ethernet & USB, you must make sure you choose right one too.
You may want to try to go to your local hardware store and see if you can find a close generic replacement. Home Depot and Lowes both have aisles with casters and small wheels, you might find something there that will suit your purposes.
METHOD 1 - Using Internet connection using DSL or cable connection.
1st. If you wish to connect to the Internet with a LAN cable or a wirelessly and if your computer doesn't have a LAN card or wireless LAN card you need to purchase a LAN card (to configure the wireless router) and if you want a wireless connection you will also need to purchase a wireless LAN card.
2nd. You need to select an Internet Service Provider in your area with a plan and cost to suit your requirements.
3rd. You need to decide what type of broadband connection you need, DSL or cable modem with or without a built-in wireless router, the Internet Service Provider can assist you with this.
5th. The Internet Service Provider can supply these items or advise you what make and model to purchase. They will also provide information on how to connect and setup your Internet connection.
METHOD 2 - Using USB wireless adapter that plugs into the laptop's USB port. It doesn't need a wireless router or a cable or DSL modem.
This is used mostly on laptop computers which allows Internet access anywhere the Internet Service Provide has a wireless transmitter. It uses the G3 mobile system.
This type of service usually costs more and again you need to select an Internet Service Provider that can provide the wireless coverage, the plan and costs that suit your requirements.
Installation and setting up information is supplied by the ISP.
