What you need is a free opensource program called http://mediacoder.sourceforge.net/download.htm

I have the settings at home but I think they were these:
Video settings: frames per second (FPS) 24 or 25, 600 KPBS
format Xvid, container AVI,
Picture settings: 320 x 240 - check the cropper settings you want
In the audio use the Lame MP3 settings no more then 44100 hz (probably 33,000).
If this doesn't work poast a message and I will get you the correct settings.

What video file format does my Eclipse 180g2 4gb mp3 music/vid player read?

Check the specification of your MP3 player to determine the type of video file format it uses. Most common video files that MP3 players use are, AVI and WMV, there may be others such as FLV, MOV and DivX. If your player cannot play a video then it is an incompatible video file format, then you need to convert that video file to a format that your MP3 player uses. After video conversion then copy the video files to your MP3 player using the USB cable from your computer. Are you sure they support those formats? Because alot of the cheaper mp3 devices usually support .mtv files which is a cheap chinese format.

I cant get ne videos to work on my iriver e100 plz help?

Hi there,
did you have unexpected errors occur during video playback?
please make sure that:
  • Supported file formats: AVI, WMV
  • Be sure to use iriver plus 3 when transferring video files. (Otherwise, unexpected errors occur during video playback.) Download iRiver plus 3
You can ask for more in assist, I would be glad to help.
(More info would be more helpful resolving the issue)

Goodluck :)

DVD Jumper digital copy is wmv -loaded on mosaic,

your player seems not to support the .wmv video format,

to watch it on pc try another video.player like KLMcodec, update the windows media-player codecs or useother freeware videoplayer software.
some programs give you the chance to change
the video formst of a film,
change the format of file from .wmv to .avi and reupload onto player
