Question about Samsung SCH-i730 Pocket PC
There is no way to recover data from a device like this if it loses power, data is stored in volatile RAM that requires a constant power supply in order to retain data as opposed to non-volatile storage devices such as flash RAM or a Hard Disk Drive. If the device lost power it lost all the data the moment it went off not after screen alignment. The only way to ensure you don't lose your data is to save it, copy it and/or back it up either to a memory card or by synchronising with your PC.

If you managed to turn the phone on, i can assume that you charged it back up again, if so, i cannot understand what the screen re aligning has to do with losing any data as the screen re-aligning is normally to do with setting up the touch screen so that when you touch a specific part of the screen, it knows exactly what you are wishing it to do regards the shortcut or menu. You should be able to collect any data or addresses using the software provided and a usb cable enabling you to sync and transfer all entries to your pc, if you have Vista this is can be done automatically when you connect as your pocket pc is instantly recognised.
