Question about Classic Accessories Classic Bicycle Dynamo Generator Unit 12v 6w
I have just got a new bike but the lights are not connected to the dynamo and there are no instructions. Please could you help me do this. Yours, Christina
You want to attach this item to the rear of the bike. Mount it so that when you hit the switch the item lean over and hits the rear tire. Hook up the wire to the lights and your all set. Now I can tell you that with this item NOT engaged you will be able to ride with no problems, but with this item engaged it will give you resistance. Meaning that you will know how much harder it is to pedel the bike. I had this item and then went and purchased a battery power item.

The bottle dynamo rides against the tire turning it . The wires from it go to the front liht. The same two wires may also be hoked to a back light. The direction of flow is not that important but most put the same (one of the two ) wire on the center connection. If you generator has only one wire, then the light(s) will have to be grounded through the frame.
