Whurrling, whistling, noise comming from speakers??

I have a bose dvd entertainment system after unplugging all cables from the sub yesterday and putting them all back in (getting carpet fitted) i have heared a whurrling, electrical noise from all speakers exept the centre one?? i checked all cables and all seem ok but i did notice the power cable has small teeth on it and can only be plugged in one way and it had a tooth slightly bent, do u think that cud be the cause of the noise?? my man seems to think theres been a power surge because of the tooth and blew the system!! is that possible!! its only 2 months old!! or cud maybe a new power cable fix it?? pleas help. x

Turned my tv on today and only 1 speaker working (left front). Yesterday all speakers were working fine. Have unplugged everything and set up again but still just the one speaker working. Any ideas?

Swop left & right speakers, if only the right speaker works, the ex left speaker is faulty, if the left side still doesn't work, the problem is the tv

Out of nowhere, the sound became extremely distorted for everything. Changed to several other inputs (DVD, CBL-SAT) but all were distorted

Bad connection? Unplug the sub to see if it has anything to do with the surround or coil on the sub speaker. Connect the cubes separately to test.

My bose 321 plays DVD's but color is all blue? Any idea?

I just had this same problem. My problem was that two of the composite cables were reversed, the red and blue. So, although everything was plugged in, when I unplugged the cables, I discovered the error. (A man who installed a new entertainment system mixed them up).

Hello, i have a vizio flat screen tv and i don't know the correct places to connect the cables of my Bose Lifestyle 48 Series IV DVD Home Entertainment System. Please help me

Does the Bose have HDMI out? Does the tv have an HDMI socket?
If it does just connect them both together. All inputs i.e. cd, ps3 dvd etc will go into the Bose.

Bose Lifestyle sound system shows "Failed 801"

your hard drive is about to fail or has failed.
If you can still play music from stored area and If you want to keep your songs thats stored on system, turn off at power point and take to bose auth repairer, they should be able to transfer songs across to new hard drive.
I have same problem, this is a common problem with bose.... not good for how much they are. Hard drive is left of cd tray, on its side.
hope this helps :)

Center speaker static noise

Sorry sp106s, you have to take that to bose service center.
Its a complicated problem. Something is wrong in the amplifier
section inside your sub box. Only authorize servicemen can
open it, not any tech'n can.

Good Luck
