Question about Acer Aspire 5315 Notebook
New cpu 2 months old, after it is turned on i get a black screen with the mouse pointer on it and nothing else, i have to hold in the power button to turn the thing off. I have pressed f2 after startup the cpu will not run restore, it gives me a code of 0x80070057. When I looked up this code a site said to get online to get help, I am unable to get online or do much else.
I had this problem with an asus laptop hold ctrl ald delete then click taskmanager scroll down to file explorer right click on that and click open in another window click on computer on right search for control panel open control panel then go to recovery and restore to a save point of your choice my computer is now running fine

Try replacing RAM modules, if that does not work, then replace the motehrboard.

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

Tips for a great answer:
Oct 25, 2013 | Acer C7 Chromebook
Jan 26, 2013 | Gateway Ne56r34u 15.6inch Laptop Black
in XP you will have to select the new toolbar option once you have that a browse option select my computer then control panel then a control panel option will be in the bottom toolbar
click on the >> or the control panel for xp
navigate to the mouse select the pointers tab you will see a browse option where you can change the mouse pointer to black
hope this helps
