Question about Lexmark X2500 All-In-One Printer
My printer is capable of printing. I've successfully used the printer's "copy" and "color copy" buttons and it prints in both B&W and color.
I can go into the "Lexmark Productivity Studio" to scan, I can scan a photo (or my install manual for the printer) with my photo editing program and with Word. I'd assume that means I have a working connection between the printer/scanner and my computer.
For some reason, though, when I go to print it loads the document into the queue for about 1/4 of a second, and then the document just disappears from the status bar.
That includes trying to print from Word, Firefox, Internet Explorer, the Lexmark PS thingy and Powerpoint.
I've tried restarting, unplugging, turning the printer on/off, all the troubleshooting things suggested with the Windows help thing in Control Panel.
I have NO idea how to get my printer to print.
The best Solution for this would be goto Start click on Run type in Services.MSC and click ok now on that window u will see an option saying print Spooler just restart that by right clicking on it......
now go to control panel and go to the Printers Folder......
Right click on the Printer Icon and click on Properties......
Now click on Advanced and then go to Print Processor.......
It will be by default on Lexmark LEMF change it to Lexmark NTEMF 1.008......
Click on Apply click ok......
Restart your Computer and try to use it it should work......

After successfully updating your printer, run the Deep Clean Printhead function on your printer.Press the Setup button > Maintenance > Deep Clean Printhead.
