since the the temerature keeps going down
or up may be due to the bad thermistor/sensor. The readouts to the display does it show
correct temperature?or due to faulty indications of those
sensors. when you unplug the fridge
and turn it back on -did it show the actual temperature. does
thae sensors read temperature correctly or Its like something starts to
affect the sensors after short while the fridge is on.

If its tripping the breaker you mayu have too many devices on that circuit or a loose wire causing the amperage togo up after it runs awhile I would go and tighten all the wires first on the breaker panel then the plug and then see iff it still does it. Let us know if thiss solves the problem oir if it fixes it. Thanks for using FixYa.

Freezer does not freeze anymore

the freezer usually has the condensor coil sandwiched ilong the outer cabnet and in the back the lines come out in to the compressor compartment as a tech i have found the steel line rusts where the epoxy coating is no longer in tact so i would say you most likely have leaked out the refrigerant

Modle evl201nxrq00 not cold enought to freeze food

I need you to feel the top of the compressor and tell me how hot it is. Also tell me if the condenser fan next to the compressor is running. If the top of the compressor is too hot to keep your hand on top the problem may be the=> 4356738 Start Relay also found here=> 4356738 Start Relay Here is a link to the repair parts list=> EVL201NXRQ00 Repair Parts List You can see the parts listed on page 5 and 6 of the above parts list. Hopefully this is the only problem causing your freezer to stop freezing as well. If the 4356738 Start Relay is defective it will cause the problems by not allowing the compressor to run or start very well also cause the top of the compressor to overheat. You may also need to change the=> 8210224 Capacitor also found here=> 8210224 Capacitor And the=> 2-34286-021 Overload also found here=> 2-34286-021 Overload Feel the top of the compressor first and let me know the results and we will go from there, Thanks Sea Breeze

There may be vents that need to be closed and or opened a little for proper adjustment.
