Normal 0 Two things can cause static.
First, If you have your speakers turned up to high it will give you feedback causing distortion and static. I recommend using a headset when videoing.
Second reason is, if you are using a laptop and have added an external microphone between the two it will cause distortion and static.
Not knowing the configuration of your computer makes it harder to analyze the problem.
So hope this is of some help. Bud

Logitech 9000 recording problem

My suggestion for recording music of any sort is to disable the cam mic and use a good quality mic plugged into the sound card as the mic in a cam is more suited to voice.

When recording turn down your speakers or wear headphones. What your hearing is the feedback from the speakers.

How do you playback video record

If you installed some recording software you should be able to record the video. After you record a video you can just find the file and double click it and what ever your default video player is it should open it and there you should have what you are looking for.

Audio on Webcam is distorted - seems to be recording at a slower speed and palying back at normal spped

as a workaround you can use the headset, you just need to configure your messenger again to use the sound from the mic input instead from the webcam.
