Slightly over one side

I have a Techwood TV and my Xbox 360 picture is over to the left by about 1cm anyone know how I can adjust the picture over? I have been to settings and changed to widescreen and this makes no difference! Really annoying! Cheers

My xbox 360 wont read the disc?

the laser lens needs clean, or adjusting which would require you to open up console and disk drive. there are 2 tiny screws on the lens which adjust for watching dvds and games the right hand side screws needs to be turned ever so slightly. or you may need a new laser lens all together. look at youtube for some help.

I recently bought an HDMI cable for my xbox 360 (the new type, i don't know if it has a name but its the one with the touch sensitive power button), and when I plug the cable into the xbox and the tv...

Sorry to hear about your trouble. You elimanted the cable as a potential problem so that is good. You are left with a couple of options that might be causing the problem.

-Bad HDMI port on the XBOX
-Bad HDMI port on the TV
-Incorrect TV settings

On the TV, you want to make sure you set it to the HDMI input when you are using HDMI, but I assume you already do this and most newer TV's will auto adjust to HDMI when the xbox is turned on. Always good to double check.

The easiest way to narrow the problem down further would be to test the hdmi connection with another TV. If the xbox works on another TV then you narrowed the problem down to the TV and will need to repair the TV either through warranty support, by yourself or via a TV repair man. If the xbox has the same trouble on a different TV then you know the problem is with the XBOX and you can contact Microsoft Xbox support for repairs.

Let me know if you have any questions.

My xbox 360 wont show a picture but it has sound

it might bea problem with your actual video cord that plugs into the tv.... umm my xbox has a lot of issues too but ive never had this. id suggest you let it say off for a while and try somebody elses cords that connect the xbox to the tv to see if its an issue with your xbox or if its with your cords. ill also suggest you call microsoft and they can troubleshoot...

please rate my solution :) thanks

Xbox 360 controller left analog stick

If you bought it brand new, contact Microsoft ASAP.

Otherwise, no luck. Just an unfortunate side affect of playing a 360.

Xbox 360 will not send a picture signal to TV

Hi there,

sounds like you have a graphics card problem with the xbox 360. possibly loose/damaged electrical connections between the GPU and the motherboard which has caused the xbox to not display a picture. with this being a Hardware problem i would suggest calling the Xbox customer support, numbers can be found on call up the support team and explain your problem.

I believe that microsoft will ask you to send the Xbox direct to them so they can fix the problem for you, it shouldnt take long to correct !

hope this helps
