Pull out the crown to the alarm setting position. The crown is located on the right side of the face of the watch. Pull the crown out until "AL", the alarm indicator, is shown on the watch. Depending upon the model of your Tag Heuer Aquaracer watch, you will either pull the crown out in the first or second position.
Select the hours and minuets for the alarm. Once your watch is in the alarm setting position, press the bottom right button on your watch. This will enable you to select the hours and minuets that you want to set the alarm for.
Set your alarm. To begin setting your alarm turn the crown clockwise until the desired hour or minutes are displayed on your Tag Heuer Aquaracer watch. If you happen to accidentally pass the alarm time, turn the crown counter-clockwise the get back to the desired alarm time.
Save your alarm. When you are ready to save your alarm, simply push in the crown. Once your alarm sounds, to silence it press any button on your Tag Heuer Aquaracer watch.
Pull the crown out to the first position, and then you may find that successive pushes of the upper pushbutton will move one of the chrono hands by one division, and the lower pushbutton will move a different chrono hand. Similarly if you pull the crown out to the second position, the pushbuttons will control the other chrono hands. In this way you can set each of the chrono hands to their zero positions. Hope this works..
There are three positions for the Carrera's push-down crown. The inner position is used for normal wear and winding. To wind the crown manually, simply rotate it clockwise.
Changing the date on the Carrera is done from the middle crown position. Turn the crown clockwise to advance the date, one day at a time. Push the crown back to the inner position when finished.
The outer crown position is used for setting the time. You can turn the crown in this position either clockwise or counter-clockwise. Adjust the time forward or backwards. Setting the time backwards will not damage the watch. When the time is correct, press the crown all the way into the inner position.
To s e t t h e t i m e a n d d a t e Your TAG Heuer chronograph is fitted with a screw-in crown and safety seals which guarantee it to be waterproof to 200 m (660 ft). Position 0: Crown is screwed in (normal position). Important: The crown must be screwed in correctly to guarantee the water-resistance of the watch. Position 1: Crown unscrewed. To change the hour (change of time zone) or date quickly, unscrew the crown, pull it out to position 2 (quick corrector) and turn it in either direction. This mode allows you to change the hour and the date without any loss of minutes. The date changes each time the hour-hand passes midnight. To set the time, unscrew the crown, pull it out to position 3 (setting the time) and turn it in either direction. After setting the date or the time, push the crown back and screw in to position 0.
Do as follows:1) At any time of the day pull the crown out and advance watch hands forward for EXACTLY 12 hours ( for example: if it's 6.35 on your watch, then after advancing hands it will be 6.35 again, just minute hand will be forwarded clockwise 12 full circles, while hour hand will be forwarded 1 full circle). Push the crown back in. 2) Pull the crown out to the date setting position and change to the desired date. Pull the crown back in. Now your watch will be changing dates at midnight continuosly.
Yes it is correct as your watch has a counterclockwise crown forward setting direction. This is due to the specificaly layered lever and setting gear construction, so, nothing wrong with your watch. Do not forget to rate, please.
