Question about H.D. Hudson 2g Yard N Garden Sprayer
This is a 20 litre back pack job, but the trouble I am having is when the liquid goes down halfway, or below the actual pump, pressure seems to drop and only a dribble of air comes out. Have I lost something? I am wondering how the liquid is supposed to jump up to the pump section.
Anyone got one of therse darn things?

SOURCE: immediate pressure loss
your dip tube inside the tank has come loose or has a leak near the top. instead of fluid being pushed up the dip tube into the wand hose the air in the tank is just escaping. You will have to remove the wand hose and figure out where the leak is and fix the dip tube.

IF your sprayer is full you should be good to go after 20 or so full stroke pumps
If it is not spraying unscrew the adjustable tip and clean out the little holes around the end
If you leave spray in the unit after using it it will get crudded up and plug up

There's a parts illustration on the Hudson web site that may be helpful to put the sprayer back together correctly. Here's the link: http://www.hdhudson.com/PDF_files/10.pdf
