Go to Philips website - download the updated version of the Philips Device Manager. Once you have the updated version of the Philips Device Manager, plug the mp3 player into the computer, open the Philips Device Manager, and click on the Update tab. It will update the firmware on your player.

Select language and country

Put the model number in the search box SA6045/xx (where xx is the country code on the back label)

Select Software & Downloads.

Select relevant files to download.

You would have to go on the site and download the software for Windows 2000 ( I saw they have a version for Philips Manager for other versions of Windows)
