Cant Figure Ou What Hose Goes Where?

I have a Bissell Pro Heat X2 model #8290, i let someone borrow it and when i got it back it would not release any solution on to the carpet so i figured if i took it apart and cleaned all the hoses out and ran some hot water through it then it would possibly clean out what i thought was just some dryed up soap or something well the problem now is i took all the hoses off and cant figure out where they hook back up to. I have sort of an idea being the lenth of them only reach to certain parts but some have two or three hook-ups and i am just lost and frustrated. I tried a couple of ways but it just constantly pushed out water, so i figured maybey the user guide/manual would help but it doesnt show anything abut the hose diagram and i just hate to throw it away because of such a easy fix, Please email me back with any answer or suggestion, thanks T.S.

Try this link - the PDF manual here should help. Unfortunately there is no page 18 which I imagine would be most useful - however the other photos should be good enough

By the way - if the unit will not dispense fluid from the main unit (but does dispense fluid using the hand tools - the most likely problem is a blocked heater. This is contained in the handle. The heater unit can be easily dismantled and cleaned. The heater is made of aluminium which corrodes if the unit is not washed out with clean water.

I have had problems with the little red clips that squirt the water getting clogged, tiny little holes! I had to remove them and use a needle, then blowed them out with air compressor. I am also trying to find a diagram for this 9300-M model but cant find one.

Bissell Pro Heat 7901 will spay through hose but not the floor and red flow indicator will not spin. So we took the housing off and after unclogging a hose running to the hearter, my husband unhooked the...

I borrowed my friends bissell to clean my carpet. It's the 7901. He brought it over and told me that it only sprayed out of the attachment hose. He said he couldn't figure out what was wrong. I'm no vacuum technician but, I am a mechnic. I decided to open her up and check it out. After about two hours it was back together and working. The reason I replied to your e-mail was because we have the same problem. I couldn't find an answer to this problem on this site so I will tell you what I found and hopefully it will help you. In removing the cover where the red heating light is, there is the heating unit for the water. In my case it is silver and it will get very hot so be careful. Notice that there is two water hoses connected to it. I removed this heater and found one of the connectors where the water hose goes was clogged. I took the back off the heater and used my air compressor to blow out the connector, and sure enough something flew out. Hope this helps. brian.small@bobstgroup.com

There is probably a bad solenoid in the machine that controls the water out to the floor, you would be better off taking it to a repair place because it is a big mess of hoses and wires.

Cant put the roller back on right!

The user manual has a diagram and instructions and is available online.
I could try to walk you through but their diagrams and instructions are pretty good.
A couple tips....the small red plate screws in laying flat and the largers one slides in sideways. If you try to match the screws holes up it may help.
Also the first time I had troubles we called Bissel and someone helped us.
