Purchased about 90 days ago. Radio works fine.
Used in small office at low volume primarily playing a CD disk.
CD quit working! The platter spins but the only sound is a repeating click from the speakers. The window shows two bars. The stop, pause or search buttons have no effect.
From what I see in this forum, this appears to be a common problem. Does "Emerson" have any response or solution?
Thanks

Unfortanatly, this is why Emerson only warranties these for 90 days, but I have heard and recommend that you contact Emerson and tell them you did not think that their product would break down after a mear 90 days and a lot of times, they will send you a new one, if you bug them enough. There should be a contact number in the owners manual. If you do not have the owners manual, go to: http://www.emersonelectronics.ca/emerson... There is a contact link there. By the way, the problem you are having is a bad spindle motor or the laser optics are bad. Have you tried to clean the small laser lens off yet with a cotton swap and some good 90% or better alcohol? Good Luck
