Question about Emerson PD6810 CD Boombox
Unfortanatly, this is why Emerson only warranties these for 90 days, but I have heard and recommend that you contact Emerson and tell them you did not think that their product would break down after a mear 90 days and a lot of times, they will send you a new one, if you bug them enough. There should be a contact number in the owners manual. If you do not have the owners manual, go to: http://www.emersonelectronics.ca/emerson/en/home/ There is a contact link there. By the way, the problem you are having is a bad spindle motor or the laser optics are bad. Have you tried to clean the small laser lens off yet with a cotton swap and some good 90% or better alcohol? Good Luck

O.k. mine was doing the same thing the two little lines would show so I got a q-tip with rubbing achohol and cleaned the lens. My batteries were also going dead, even thou the radio would play, once I plugged it up it was good to go.
