Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Cannot copy files using BYTECC Bt-300

check the jumpers on the old drive and see if its powering on or spining up! some of these usb adapters just dont work on old drives if all else faisl open your system and connect it to your pata bus if you have one! if not then use another computer to extract your data and put it on another storage media e.g. flash drives ext hardddisk memory card or dvd or cd disk!

Hi. I have a Bytecc 3.5" drive enclosure. I just wondered which sid should face the fan when I install the drive? I assume it's the side with the green processor, right?

OK, yes, it's obviously the processor side that faces the fan. DUH. The screws wouldn't fit any other way.

Sorry for asking the obvious...
