Question about IBM NetVista M42 PC Desktop
My computer is actually IBM Netvista 8305-ISA. First, I installed a cd-rom (LG brand) into this desktop and it cannot detect it. Thinking that it sometimes cannot shut down properly, so I decided to reinstall Windows XP. But when I finish install it, I boot it up and safe mode page appeared (it has few selections, Safe mode, safe mode with internet network, last known good condition, startup normally and bla bla bla). When I select one of the options, it will automatically restart and go to the same screen. I tried make the hard disk into a slave drive of my other computer and reinstall Windows XP, but it seems to be corrupted and cannot be detected with any other computers. Before this, the HDD have no bad sectors and is working just fine. Please help. My computer ia about 6 years old and it is Pentium (R) 4 (845G chipset), 256 RAM, 40GB HDD with 10GB slave drive.
