No sound. Lights up

Try this instead, when you look at the back of the receiver, try and jiggle each chord connected, just to see if one might be loose.

IF NOT -- try and make sure the settings on your tv is correct, most receiver boxes use and HDMI cable for video and ausio as a dual connection so if the HDMI settings in your internal settings are off, you might need to update the settings and then it should work

Boston Acoustics Recepter Radio HD stopped working - no power. The power supply is fine. is there a fuse in the radio?

There should be a fuse in the back but it would only blow if the wiring is funny because the car's fuses are closer to the power supply and should go first, but try anyway

I have a old tv with rca audio imputs and I wanted to run iit thriugh my denon.Im runing my ipod and serius radio through it and I thought I would like to hear the tv also . So I disconnecteed my iod...

WHY?

TV audio INputs won't feed the receiver. TV audio OUTputs would. Maybe THAT is what you meant.

If your TV gets ITS programming from anywhere but its own antenna, why don't you just get the audio from that device into the receiver? Patching TV-originated audio is like feeding a transistor radio to the receiver. Old TV audio circuitry is, um, awful.

Assuming you still want to have the TV be an audio source, run the RCA outputs to any available input on the receiver EXCEPT PHONO. If your TV has any menus for ausio control make sure they are set to put out a FIXED volume level so when you lower the TV speakers you don't affect the audio on the RCA jacks.

I have a Sony Walkman TV/Weather/FM/AM SRF-M37V. I need to know

The radio won't get TV sound anymore after the switch. And no, nobody is selling a digital receiver for the TV sound yet. All this radio is good for now is regular broadcasting and the weather band.

Hooking up alpine hd radio unit, bt-400, which one do i hook ipod to

Niether .... do you know what you have in hand? Both those extras costed someone some cash ... OK here it is: the CDA-9884 has a dedicated input for ipod (a KCE-422i cable is needed and comes with the new CDA-9884 in the box) ... The HD radio unit allows you to recieve new HD radio signals (digital radio, and stations that have it in your area may also have extra music streams like HD TV does). The bt-400 is a bluetooth adapter to use bluetooth enabled devices with such as a cell phone. If your ipod has bluetooth you could used the bt adapter but I suggest the KCE-422i cable instead, and check out the HD radio too, it's pretty cool.

Questions about my KENWOOD DDX512 RECEIVER.

the usb port it's a cable coming from the back of the unit and has to routed somewhere where you can get to it.
I know that if you install the bluetooth unit, you can connect another device to it because has a pass through connection.
if you have an earlier unit(serial#8020...) you will most likely have issues with the HD. doesn't hold the memory presets after shut down. Service dept. has to change an EROM inside the DDX.
sirius won't become xm pretty soon?
I own a DNX5120. I'm not an expert, just another owner. Our units have a new firmware 1.40, if you don't have it yet, download it from Kenwood. Bluetooth also has one.

Can't Get A Radio Signal When I Connect A Cox Cable

Hi...
Some cable companies dont put the FM band on cable and some others put an FM trap (which kills the FM band) in line with the cable.
One of those is your problem.
You'll need to buy a FM antenna

Hd radio

hd ready means you need an optional adapter to recieve HD radio broadcasts (digital reception will be without static, and often have sidebands extra music on the same channel) provided there are broadcasters in your area transmitting HD signals most major cities have many HD providers. And many smaller areas now too.
